Should I use an image for my background? ....

Additionally, Castro's book has served as a Rosetta Stone, allowing me to decipher the language used to create websites. Running improves my energy levels and it makes me feel good. As a result, it has galvanized me into action, providing me with the energy for the home stretch, completing my website.

What do you think of the following website: http://www.hdhlaw.com/
It is an example of a website for an estate lawyer.

Update

Saturday I was given the go ahead by Karen's dad, an estate lawyer, to create a website for him . I will be creating a website for my future Father-in-Law. I know what your thinking. What a brown noser. You 're right. My nose is brown, wait a minute, it's always that color.

The following has nothing to do with my final project.

Does anybody reading this blog like lentils? If you are thinking, I love lentils! Please read on. I am about to share a Mexican recipe for making lentils.

Ingredients:

1 cup dried lentils
1 medium onion
5 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
Ground (cayenne) red pepper to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
1 cup of chicken broth (optional)

Directions:

Put the dried lentils in a pot .

Add 2 cups water (3 cups if you aren't using the broth) and the chicken broth

Add the onion, chopped

Add the garlic, chopped (If you microwave the garlic for 15 sec., it is easier to peel them)

Add the spices

Bring to a boil, Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until lentils are tender, about 45 minutes.

Remove cover and simmer over low heat, stirring frequently, about 20 more minutes. The lentils should be thick and mushy.

Serve with rice. I recommend jasmine rice.

Enjoy.

Future librarian misses Milwaukee's coffee houses.

It is absolutely true. Milwaukee has a bunch of great coffee houses.

I spent lots of time at my favorite ones sipping brilliantly flavorful coffee. I enjoyed them for different reasons. I loved Anodyne because it was the place my friends and I went to after mountain biking (They have great waffles). I would go to Stone Creek Coffee to meet my friend Mark (The Boulevard Ensemble Theater's Artistic Director) and spend hours talking to him about everything imaginable. Lastly, whenever I was in the neighborhood, I would stop by Belle Café to chat with my friend Jackie who worked there.

I hope that one day you may have the pleasure of enjoying a cup of Joe from one of my old haunts.

Adios.

Introduction

Hi. I am a LIS student at Drexel University. This is my third term. I am planning on finishing my course work in December of this year, 2008. After earning my degree, I hope to work as research librarian for a Federal library. Ideally, I would like to work overseas, in either a French-Speaking or Spanish-speaking country.

Unless you thought I was either Indian or Pakistani, you probably guessed my ethnicity, Tejano-Chicano. My mom is from Texas and my dad is from Mexico. Although I was born in the USA, my parents taught me their native languages, Tejano (English influenced Castilian) and Castellano (The Spanish dialect commonly spoken in Latin America) . Additionally, I speak a tiny bit of French. I took four semesters of French in college. I would love to put my language skills to good use as a trilingual librarian.

I am currently employed as a social worker for a program that assists the formerly homeless. It is an interesting job. I have seen things I hope you never have to.

Here is a list of websites I enjoy:
George RR Martin's official website
New American Media
The official Guillermo Del Toro fansite
